Community Engagement Officer

Responsibilities

• Mobilize and engage grassroots communities to participate in TMSI activities.
• Organize and facilitate community dialogues, sensitization sessions, and workshops.
• Build networks of peer educators, volunteers, and community advocates.
• Collect community feedback and integrate it into programming.
• Support in documenting stories, voices, and lived experiences from the community.
• Ensure community ownership and inclusivity in all projects.
• Report writing

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Sociology, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in community mobilization or grassroots organizing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage diverse groups, including marginalized populations.

Strong understanding of SRHR, safeguarding, and inclusive practices.
