Advocacy Officer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advocacy strategies on SRHR and human rights.
• Engage policymakers, stakeholders, and coalitions to influence positive change.
• Organize policy dialogues, roundtables, and panel discussions.
• Monitor policy developments relevant to TMSI’s mission.
• Draft position papers, advocacy briefs, and communiqués.
• Train youth and community leaders in advocacy skills.
• Represent TMSI at external advocacy and policy platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, or related field.
• 2–3 years of advocacy or policy experience in NGO or development sector.
• Strong understanding of SRHR, gender, and social justice policies.
• Excellent negotiation, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to draft policy briefs and advocacy materials.
