Artist Statement :

As a realist painter, I seek to capture the intricate details and textures of everyday life, elevating the mundane to the extraordinary. Through meticulous brushstrokes, vibrant, large-scale murals, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy, I strive to transport viewers into the world of my subject and sound the alarm on climate change, amplifying the urgent need for environmental stewardship. Inspired by the masters of realism, from Aina Onabolu to Abiodun Olaku, I explore the interplay of light and shadow, color and tone, to create immersive and emotionally resonant works. My art invites the viewer to pause, observe, and connect with the beauty in the familiar.

Nonetheless, as a creative artist and a muralist, I shine a light on the unsung heroes of Lagos – community sweepers. Through vibrant, large-scale artworks, I celebrate their tireless efforts in keeping our city clean and beautiful.
